Publishers upload announcement videos for their games on Youtube. I think it would be preem if we had a place to post links to these videos to make it easy to post a quick "Please bring this to GOG on PC" comment. I think these are a very visible place for publishers to see GOG support.

Sometimes videos go up on the publisher's channel but are also posted by Playstation, Xbox etc. Try to comment on the original publisher video if possible. Try not to go crazy with post full of links, pick your favourites.

What's the efficacy of doing this? I suspect 'so little that it's not worthwhile', but I am willing to be convinced otherwise.

I think the comments section of a publisher's youtube channel is a quick and easy feedback source. Particularly if it's fresh after they upload. Less friction and easier than emailing.

Hardly I doubt they look at a percentage of comments, the reality is GOG needs a larger userbase of customers. More customers the more likely devs will sell by default. As of right now selling on here is a fraction they would make on other store fronts or platforms.

Could be, if you have a YouTube account in the first place. The point is, it assumes that people have social media accounts.

Even though this kind of behavior is a bit silly, I remember some people doing just that to get a Nintendo Switch release and it worked a few times. So who knows...

Considering how many people own a switch that alone would be reason enough to sell seiwtch versions.
