So I somewhat like trains, but I'm having a hard time finding games that are related to trains (please don't say Train Simulator 20XX :P) so I wonder if any of you have a train game to suggest?

It can be simulators, it can be turn based games, it can be sandboxes, it can be RPGs, it can be FPS, it can be anything as long as there are trains involved somehow.

You can bomb/strafe trains in IL-2 Sturmovik 1946.
you run around a train station and blow up a armored train in the original ps1 medal of honor

and there is a level on a train in goldeneye
and from russia with love also has trains
The Last Express takes place on a train. I don't know if it is fun, I never played it, I hear there are repetition parts that make the game less fun than it could be.

I looove the original Railroad Tycoon.

As it is being shown in people's posts already, there are definitely a lot of games that have train sequences/sections to them, and I could list a bunch I suppose (I love the location Rail Nomads in Wasteland 2 - it is an old train-yard with a series of quests and a quest series related to the people there and the story of what happened with the trains/train yard) but I don't know many that it is a main focal point for the entire game.

You can't go wrong with OpenTTD. It's free too.
Well there's the Railroad Tycoon series, Train Fever.. Blood has a level on a train.
You spend five seconds on a train in Wolfenstein: The New Order.
Hidden & Dangerous had a level with a train, the first one I think.
And that's all I can think of right now.
There might be some games where you're running a train.. but that's not really my kind of genre.

Edit: Just thought of two more: Transarctica by Silmarillion and the PSX game Covert Ops.

Yeah, while dodging other trains, cars, trucks, and jumping off cliffs! :P
totally forgot about the last express
murder on the orient express takes place off course on the orient express
First person shooters I remember with trainlevels:

- Shogo
- Blood 1+2
- No One Lives Forever
- Red Faction
- Sin
- Half-Life
- Mace Griffin: Bounty Hunter (minecarts, don't know if that counts)
- Metro 2033 and Last Light
- Splinter Cell: Pandorra Tomorrow (third person)
Fear Equation
there's a train on that wintery research station level in Mass Effect (the station where you fight Benezia)

there's a train in DOOM2016 at one point
LEGO Loco
Arcanum has a train running between towns I think.
TR IV has a GREAT train level. Best level in the game.
